In consideration of the GDPR changes on May 25th 2018 please read the below information regarding data communication and protection in line with PdB policy:

What data do we hold? If you contact Port de Barre we will collect your personal information such as name, telephone number and email address.

How do we use your data? If you take a class with Port de Barre we will collect medical and health data. This is a legal requirement and data is used to prepare and insure classes. We will also use your data to send you information about products and services that we feel might be of interest to you.

If you pay for classes online or via BACS transfer the transaction is confirmed but no payment information is taken or stored.
Email addresses/ telephone numbers provided will be used for contact regarding information about classes and events.

Do we share your data? We never share your data with other companies but with your consent may contact you to inform you of other events with other companies that we think may interest you.

How do we ensure the safety of your data? Personal and credit/debit card information is taken through Stripe, a leading secure online payment system (https://stripe.com/docs/security/stripe).

All sensitive data is stored safely in a locked fireproof filing cabinet and on a password protected computer.
Sensitive data is kept for 6 years before it is deleted. You have the right to request for your data to be deleted, in which case this is destroyed, and evidence of this destruction can be sent to you on request. If you wish for your data to be destroyed, please email:

Disclaimer

 This class/workshop is based on sound teaching practice and the information provided. If you experience any pain or dizziness during the sessions, you should stop what you are doing and consult your doctor. If you injure yourself in any way during a class, you should inform your instructor. We accept no liability whatsoever for injury or death during class.

For ONLINE LIVE classes you should be fit for for exercise and consult a doctor if unsure. Ensure you have enough space to perform Barre exercises and clear any furniture or obstacles from around you. Ensure any equipment you are holding onto is stable and secure. We accept no liability for injury sustained whilst participating in online streamed or recorded PdB classes.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please note: PdB require at least 24 hours notice should you wish to cancel a booked class. Once the booking has been completed the payments will be deemed as “non-refundable”.

Workshops/Group: Should numbers decrease once the group booking has been placed, no refunds will be made.

1-2-1 Private Class: Cancellation Policy: Please note that PdB will always try to be as flexible as possible with regards to 1-2-1 sessions and ask that clients provide as much notice as possible when moving sessions around. Port de Barre reserve the right to charge 100% of the 1-2-1 session in the event of a client failing to show up for a pre-booked session. However, no charge will apply for cancellations made within 24 hours of the booked session.

PdB CREDITS

Once credits are purchased please reserve your preferred sessions on our booking system. Please allow 24 hours notice period for cancellation. IF THE CLASS IS CANCELLED LESS THAN 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE CREDITS OR PAYMENT WILL STILL BE TAKEN

Expiry Dates: Following your credit purchase you will be emailed a date when credits will expire. Credits will not be honoured past this date.

PdB Credits are non transferable and designed for one attendee.

LATENESS

Pdb request that clients arrive at least 5 minutes early prior to their session. In the event that the client is running late, the allotted session will run to the pre-booked time without any extension.

STUDIO DISRUPTION & DISCONTINUATION OF STUDIO CLASSES

In the event of studio closure or studio class cancellation, clients will be able to use any purchased credits online.

UNDER 16 POLICY

With regret we are unable to welcome children under the age of 16 years old to any of our studio or online group classes. We do, however, offer 1-2-1 private tuition for children under the age of 16 years old.
